Tennis Focus Academy is the coaching provider and Spelthorne Community Tennis Centre is the facility provider.
Your membership contract …
“Premium Court Membership”
1.0 Contract. Your membership contract is with “Spelthorne Community Tennis Centre”.
2.0 Term. You are entering into an annual contract with fees collected in advance.
3.0 Court Booking. Court booking must be made online at www.tennisspelthorne.com.
4.0 Other Membership Benefits:
4.1 Free LTA Membership and entry into the draw for the right to purchase Wimbledon tickets is subject to the scheme being made available by the LTA.
5.0 Your membership fees are paid annually in advance. Once paid, fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
6.0 How we can end your contract. We can cancel this contract with immediate effect in the following circumstances:
6.1 If you repeatedly abuse your booking rights by using the courts for non-tennis playing purposes.
6.2 If you act in an abusive, threatening or violent manner
6.3 If your behaviour raises any concerns with regard to safeguarding children or vulnerable adults
6.4 If you act in a way which prevents other members from enjoying the facility
6.5 If we end your membership for any of these reasons, we have the right to keep a proportion of the money paid under this agreement, to cover any reasonable costs we have to pay.
7.0 Data Protection. We follow the Data Protection Act 1998. You are entitled to see the information we hold about you and you can ask us to make any necessary changes to make sure that it is accurate and up to date. If you want to do this, please contact us at tennisspelthorne@gmail.com
“Adult WEEKLY Plan”
1.0 Contract. Your membership contract is with “Tennis Focus Academy”.
1.1 Both these plans offer, free of charge, all the benefits associated with our “Premium Court Membership”. All these benefits are subject to the contractual terms associated with the “Premium Court Membership”.
1.2 The “WEEKLY” memberships are individual contracts. Only you, the applicant, may book and take part in sessions.
2.0 Term. You are entering a rolling contract with fees being paid on an on going monthly basis.
3.0 These plans offer you access to a specified mix of club sessions (“Social Mixers”, “Coffee Mornings”, “Group Coaching” and “Cardio Sessions”. We may make reasonable changes to the programme at any time. Whilst we will maintain the balance and mix of sessions, we reserve the right to alter days and times of sessions.
3.1 The “WEEKLY” plan entitles the user to 5 coaching style sessions (Cardio, Technical, or Drills) a month. Any extra sessions booked, over the 5 sessions, will be charged an extra £8 per session, unless cancelled 7 hours before the session commences, via Gymsync.
4.0 Christmas and Bank Holidays. Please note that regular social mix in sessions will not run on bank holidays. Also, there will be no sessions running over the Christmas period. Exact dates will be notified each year.
5.0 How you can end your contract. You may cancel your contract with one full months notice by emailing us at tennisspelthorne@gmail.com. Notice cannot be accepted verbally or by text. Please note, the notice period will be to the end of your current month plus an additional month which will be charged immediately upon cancellation.
5.1 Please note, simply cancelling your monthly payments will not constitute giving notice and your contract will not have ended.
6.0 How we can end your contract. We can cancel this contract with immediate effect in the following circumstances:

“Junior/Tots WEEKLY Plan” and “Junior Performance”
1.0 Contract. Your plan contract is with “Tennis Focus Academy”.
1.1 These plans offer all appropriate term time coaching sessions for no additional cost.
1.2 The “WEEKLY” and “PERFORMANCE” memberships are individual contracts. Only you, the applicant, may book and take part in sessions.
2.0 Term. You are entering a rolling contract with fees being paid on an on going monthly basis.
3.0 These plans offer you access to a specified mix of coaching sessions. We may make reasonable changes to the programme at any time. Whilst we will maintain the balance and mix of sessions, we reserve the right to alter days and times of sessions.

3.2 The “PERFORMANCE” plan entitles the user to attend Performance training within the squad they have been invited too.
4.1 These memberships do not include court-booking rights.
4.2 The monthly fee is payable in advance by direct debit and is non-refundable.
4.3 How you can end your contract. You may cancel your contract with one full months notice by emailing us at tennisspelthorne@gmail.com. Notice cannot be accepted verbally or by text. Please note, the notice period will be to the end of your current month plus an additional month which will be charged immediately upon cancellation. Please note, simply cancelling your monthly payments will not constitute giving notice and your contract will not have ended.
4.4 To re-instate a cancelled contract within 4 weeks of cancellation there will be £25 administration fee.
4.5 The contract is not transferable.
4.6 It will be your responsibility to enrol, with our booking software, for your term time sessions and camps. You will not be automatically booked into sessions.
5.1 We run a limited programme of activities over the Christmas holidays.
General Terms and Conditions
(1) Introduction
These terms and conditions govern your use of our website; by using our website, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use our website.

(3) Wet Weather Policy
Please bring protection from showers, as our general policy is that courses will go ahead unless persistent heavy rain makes the courts unplayable.
(4) Private lessons
Once you have a coach all further arrangement are to be made with them directly.
Permission for children to go home alone must be given in writing.
Bookings can be made a week in advance. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance or you will be charged the cost of the session or forfeit your voucher.
We reserve the right to make changes, including price, content, description, terms, etc. at any time without notice.
A decision regarding weather conditions is made 30 minutes before the start time.
(5) Lateness in Picking Up.
We have the right to remove any children whose parents are late picking more than once on a course. In these circumstances no refund will be issued.
(6) Damages, Loss and Injury
Damage caused whilst on Tennis Focus Academy courses is chargeable to the offender(s). To the extent permitted by law, Tennis Focus Academy will not accept responsibility for any injuries incurred during play at any of the coaching sites in any weather/ground conditions. Tennis Focus Academy accepts no liability for damage to, or loss of, any property or articles or things whatsoever, placed or left at any of the coaching site by any person or organisation.
(7) Licence to use website
Unless otherwise stated, we or our licensors own the intellectual property rights in the website and material on the website. Subject to the licence below, all these intellectual property rights are reserved.
You may view, download for caching purposes only, and print pages from the website for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions set out below and elsewhere in these terms and conditions.
You must not:
(a) republish material from this website (including republication on another website);
(b) sell, rent or sub-license material from the website;
(c) show any material from the website in public;
(d) reproduce, duplicate, copy or otherwise exploit material on our website for a commercial purpose;

(13)A Refunds for courses not memberships.
All cancellations must be made in writing, by letter or email, and be received a minimum of seven days before the course begins. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted. Cancellation of a course booking up to 7 days or more prior to the first session will incur a £15 administration fee. No refunds available after that date. We are unable to accept replacements in lieu of your booking. We do give credits.
(14) Availability & Cancellation
Places on courses are subject to availability.

(16) Clothing
Players must wear comfortable sports clothing and non-marking trainers. We advise people to wear correct tennis shoes as they offer better support and comfort whilst playing.
